You've booked the venue and saved the date, so here's where we come in. Rich and Nicky established Mikasa in 2007 to cater for private and corporate events. We've over 10-years experience of weddings, parties, conferences, award ceremonies and outdoor settings which we use to provide great service giving you every confidence in us.

Based in Maidstone we work mainly in the south-eastern counties (Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, London) but have played across England. With Rich DJ-ing, we provide tailored music, lighting and special effects for 40 to 4,000 people. We’re friendly and love what we do. We give our best ensuring seamless input, meaning you and your guests are free to focus on having fun. |

Whether a long-dreamed wedding, an easy jazz soiree, a jumping club night, a specialist conference or anything in between, we can help. If you need the perfect DJ or a simple PA system, plasma screens or bubble machines, we've all you need to create the perfect atmosphere.
“But what if I'm working on something different?” Fantastic! We're always excited to get involved in something new so simply let us know and we'll work together to bring it to life.

Apart from the above, there’re a few other things we’re proud of.
- The environment matters to us personally and we’re committed to carrying this through to our business. We’re lessening our impact by: introducing LED lighting; using low energy LCD screens; recycling our packaging; maintaining a largely paperless office; utilizing vegetable inks and recycled paper wherever possible; and powering our office using renewable electricity.
- It’s always nice to play a familiar venue, and we’ve played widely, but we’re also excited to explore new locations. There’s nowhere too cosy, extensive or unusual. We’ve played: country houses, marquees, living rooms, outdoor stages, village halls, and bars.
Amongst others that includes: Salomons (Tunbridge Wells), Thames Motor Yacht Club (Hampton Court), Pembroke Lodge (Richmond Park), Hurlingham Club (Chelsea), Smollenskys (London), London Aquarium, Ministry of Sound, Madame Tussauds, East Midlands Conference Centre, Aspire - Leeds.
- We always remember this is your event. If you’ve something in mind, we’re flexible and will do everything we can to make it happen. If you want inspiration or advice we’re friendly and ready to inspire.
- We carry modern, safety tested equipment and have full public liability insurance.
